Graduating from Fort Hays State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in social work, I worked as a hospital social worker for many years.  In this role, I encountered and helped many patients struggling with both physical and mental health related concerns.  In 2020, I graduated with my master's degree in social work from The University of Kansas, quickly beginning the journey for licensing as a clinical social worker, which was obtained in November of 2022.  Since that time I have been working as a psychotherapist providing individual, family, and couples counseling services.  I became RPT™, Registered Play Therapist™, credentialed in January of 2025.
